Privacy Policy (Personal Data Protection)
1. Data Controller
The data controller is MM Bridge s.r.o. (with its registered office at Nad Uzlabinou 708/7, Prague 10, 108 00, Czech Republic, ID: 087 60 241, registered in the Public Register kept at the Municipal Court in Prague). We process your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Act No. 110/2019 Coll., on Personal Data Processing, and other applicable Czech data protection laws.
2. What Data We Collect and Why
We only collect data necessary to provide you with our services. This includes:
- Account Creation & Membership Access: When you register for the Member section (free or paid) on milanbridge.com, we collect your name, surname, email address, username, and password. We process this data to set up your account and provide access to the content based on your registration/contract.
- Order Processing & Billing: When you purchase our services, we also collect your billing address, phone number, and payment details. We process this data to fulfill your order, process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with legal tax and accounting obligations.
- Newsletters & Marketing: If you register for our newsletter or obtain free access, we send you updates based on your explicit consent. If you are an existing customer, we may send you important updates and news regarding the Member section based on our legitimate interest. You can unsubscribe at any time.
3. Data Retention Period
We store your personal data only for as long as necessary:
Account and membership data is kept for the duration of your active account use.
Invoicing and order transaction data is securely stored for 10 years to meet legal tax and accounting requirements.
Marketing data is processed for a maximum of 10 years from your last interaction or until you withdraw your consent.
4. Who Has Access to Your Data (Processors)
Your data is kept confidential. Only authorized team members and trusted third-party processors who assist us in running our services have access to it. These include:
FAPI (for issuing invoices)
SmartEmailing (for email communication and newsletters)
GOPAY (for processing secure electronic payments)
We do not sell or pass your data to any other third parties unless required by law.
5. Your Rights under GDPR
You have full control over your personal data. Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
- Withdraw your consent to marketing communication at any time (via the link in any email or by writing to info@milanbridge.com).
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction, updating, or deletion of your personal data.
- Request restriction of data processing or object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- File a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů) if you believe your data is handled unlawfully.
